This is a Handmade Leather Strop with a non-slip base. It is used to make your sharpening process easier, and polish the edges of your knives and cutting tools.

It is used by drawing the blade along the surface of the strop, away from the edge. This allows the strop to remove any burrs or rough spots that may have formed on the edge during previous sharpening stages.
